The Marketing Research Assistant reports directly to specified Project Managers.

The Mandate

The Marketing Research Assistant will work closely with our President and Project Managers to successfully execute current and future projects in the area of international education. Key areas of accountability for this role are:

  • English to Mandarin translation, both written and verbal
  • Perform telephone interviews
  • Receive and organize data
  • Conduct research to create survey contact list
  • Assist in creating introduction letters and other communication pieces
  • Assist in creating PowerPoint presentations
  • Assist with written and presentation materials
  • Curate marketing collateral from client competitors and industry specialists
  • Perform telephone interviews
  • Compile data for comparative analysis
  • Assist with research of industry trends and core messaging
  • Research general industry market trends in specific international cities
  • Research larger industry sector trends


  • Advanced writing and proof-reading skills in English and Mandarin
  • Advanced phone communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate research tasks
  • High attention to detail
  • Advanced organizational skills
  • Solid computer skills and active on social media
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills to diagnose challenges and issues


Post-Secondary Education/Diploma in Communications, Marketing or Administration
You will be utilizing a variety of platforms including: Facebook, Microsoft Suite programs (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), Google Drive, Docs, Calendar and more. A working knowledge of these programs is imperative.
A combination of education and experience will be considered.

Some international travel may be required.
